Christian Wilhelm Blomstrand (20 October 1826 – 5 November 1897) was a Swedish mineralogist and chemist.

Blomstrand was born in Växjö, Sweden and studied chemistry at the University of Lund, where he received his Ph.D in 1850 and his habilitation in 1854. After a expedition to Spitsbergen and a being a lecturer at the Elementary Technical School of Malmö.[1][2] he became professor for chemistry 1862 at the University of Lund.

Blomstrand was a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences from 1861.
